Daybreak Ministries Race for LIFE

Join us for the THIRD annual Daybreak Ministries Race for LIFE 5K- We’re running for THEIR lives! All profits will go towards supporting the mission and vision of Daybreak Ministries by extending our reach in the Midlands. The race will be officially timed by FasTrak Timing and will be for both walkers and runners.

We have the option for YOU to help US turn this event into a major fundraiser for our ministry! This is NOT a requirement to participate, but we would love to have race participants obtain sponsors that will give in support of our mission to help us SAVE AND CHANGE LIVES here in the Midlands!

Here’s how it works:

Register through RunHard for the race (EVERYONE must do)
Check the “I want to help fundraise” box during registration to let us know that YOU will be a Daybreak 5K Ambassador! Linzy will contact you with your own personal giving website established for you to share with your supporters. (Again, this is not a requirement, but we would love for you to help!)
Send your giving website link to those who will be sponsoring you so they can give online!

Important Details

Date:	Saturday, October 19, 2019
Time:	6:30 - 7:30 am: Registration/Packet Pickup 8:00 am: Race Starts
Packet:	Friday, October 18 from 9am–6pm at Daybreak (1601 St. Julian Place, Columbia, SC 29204) Race day from 6:30–7:30 am at Saluda Shoals
Cost:	$35 $10 (kids 12 and under) Kids 2 and under are free Online registration closes on October 16. Race participation is not required to donate.
Location:	Saluda Shoals Park - NEW Entrance 6071 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29212
Shirts:	These shirts tend to run a bit small, so please keep that in mind when selecting your size (you may want to choose one size larger than usual). Shirts are guaranteed for runners that register on or before October 4 Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after October 4
Timing:	The race will be officially timed by FasTrak Timing
Awards:	Overall Male & Female, Overall Masters Male & Female, and Overall High School Male & Female. Age Group Awards. Top 3 fundraisers.
